I continued the handle as follows (ch2 counts as one dc):

R16 – R26: same as row 4
R27: ch2, two dc in next stitch, dc in next 3 stitches, two dc in next stitch. (8) End of row, turn.
R28: ch2, two dc in next stitch, dc in next 5 stitches, two dc in next stitch. (10). End of row, turn.
R29: ch2, nine dc.
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.

And then I sewed the handle to the body of the tote so it looks seamless. Or you can sleep stitch it too, but sewing looks just nicer to me. Hope this helps! :-) LiliLilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03162959174140524507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7166916346241889590.post-22950961447949882592014-07-01T08:13:03.975-07:002014-07-01T08:13:03.975-07:00I've hesitated to make this Market Bag pattern...I've hesitated to make this Market Bag pattern because I don't care for the two piece handle, either.
